OUR STORY
In our opinion the Iso Grifo was one of the most beautiful cars ever built. Classic Italian styling mated to a powerful V8 engine is always a recipe for perfection. Prices for rare original cars are now becoming out of reach for all but the few. Deliberating on this point, we had an inspired thought, why not produce a recreation Grifo series. Producing cars that looked exactly like the original Grifo but underneath base it on a modern chassis, suspension and drive train. The image below is of our first prototype. We are building this using body moulds taken from an original car. We even managed to secure the original Iso Grifo name!
Our Grifo recreation has a stainless steel chassis formed from 4003 low-chrome/low-carbon sheet stainless steel and is guaranteed for life, fully independent adjustable suspension, power disc brake system, supercharged V8 engine mated to a six speed manual gearbox. The interior is trimmed in the finest leathers and veneers to match the original. Classic looks with a modern drive. There is a wide choice of traditional wire wheels or period style alloys in a variety of widths and diameters so can get the exact look you desire. Variations and drivetrains on both models are possible as each car is bespoke built. The colour, interior finishes and wheel option are your choice.
